Sigh. My wish for spring to arrive by March 1st has come and gone. For now, I’ll have to make do with the occasional ray of sunshine and fleeting temperature above freezing.
Not exactly sure what the above is (type of plant) but it reminds me a bit of pussy willow. I see it all the time. The fuzz always reminds me of spring. I actually seek it out as a sign of the season. Same thing for wild blueberries.
I love the depth of field in this and the painterly feel. It’s cool to know I could never paint like this but I can still make something with a similar feel. This image sits on my wall at the far end of my bed to help remind me the season is changing!
I'm also waiting for the Apples!
